What’s new on the menu? Favorite Video & Audio Clips!

It’s quite an addicting hobby — collecting YouTube.com video and audio clips for my blog. Word Press makes it easy for me to embed the Youtube.com links without any complicated instructions. So, check out what videos I’ve added to my FAVORITE VIDEO & AUDIO CLIPS. Whether it’s the latest in “Bollywood, Fusion, & Asian Urban Music,” “Everything Filipino,” Family, “Whatever Moves Me,”, or Words & Music That Heal, just remember that this is, after all, my collection. Even my husband’s favorites are featured here at My Husband’s Selections.

I don’t have to keep searching for a favorite dance, a particular massage technique, inspirational words, or song anywhere else except at my blog. And you’ll see some personal comments about some of the people and places that I’ve featured. Let me know what you think!

Apl d Ap of Black Eyed Peas, Bernardo Bernardo, Stephanie Reese, Cheryl Burke, Monique Lhuillier, Jocelyn Enriquez, Grace Nono and the Pinikpikan group, Makiling Ensemble, Lea Salonga and Monique Wilson, Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha, and Paolo Montalban are some of the people I chose to highlight in “Everything Filipino.”

My fascination for Bollywood, Fusion, and Asian Urban Music is embedded in my blog. Aishwarya Rai, Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Panjabi MC, and Hard Kaur are some of the celebrities I’ve featured who are quite popular worldwide. Never mind if I don’t understand the language. I certainly enjoy the music (an acquired taste after constant exposure to Indo-American friends). What’s wonderful about YouTube.com is that we can now learn “bhangra” dance steps online or as an aerobic exercise option.

Whatever Moves Me brings you to my favorite musical artists and songs. Josh Groban, Il Divo, Celine Dion, Charlotte Church, Iz, Sarah Brightman, Antonio Banderas, and Andrea Bocelli are wonderful!

I always need affirmations and reminders about how I choose to live my life — to the fullest! To help me with this, I gathered Words & Music That Heal. Deepak Chopra, The Secret, Shakti Gawain, Rumi, His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Mother Mary and Jesus Christ, and great meditators like Osho are featured here. A bonus is the series of videos on massage techniques. I’ve finally figured out a way to learn certain massage techniques on myself or on my family and friends while the video plays in front of me. Cool!

I’m also gathering family videos, which is the smallest collection to-date. Here, Mark de Vera shows off his modern dancing talent. His martial arts training shows, too!

The videos in “Book Your Travel Online!” are works-in-progress. I’m gathering spectacular photos done by family and friends — so I can present them in a PowerPoint presentation in this page. When that’s ready, at least I’ll have learned some movie-making at the same time. Noteworthy is the irreverent travel show, “Wild on E! Philippines” which I’ve chosen to showcase. This is dedicated to all the party animals in my life who want to know what kind of wild adventures are in store for them when they get to the Philippines. This set of videos is not for the “faint of heart.” A little controversy doesn’t hurt.
