A Radiant Digital View with Lorna Lardizabal Dietz: My 5Linx Business
It all started with my family’s complaint about escalating mobile phone bills. Yes, it is possible to benefit from savings when we review our telecommunications bills. I could also ask my relatives and friends to consider using our services without leaving their telecom company. I get to be their “independent marketing representative.” Welcome! www.5Linx.net/RadiantView Continue reading
Building Community with the Merchants at Seasons Marketplace at Landess, Milpitas, California
“Building community” at Seasons Marketplace at Landess meant introducing the Bay Area’s Filipino community to this beautifully-designed mall. For instance, anchor tenant Seafood City provides a huge variety of ethnic ingredients that are distinctively Asian while showcasing a fresh assortment of seafood for healthy, heart-smart cuisine.
GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV are media partners of NaFFAA through its media sponsorship of the E-2010: 9th NaFFAA Empowerment Conference on November 10-21, 2011. It is through this relationship that more public relations and community relations efforts are being done through social media and digital public relations (engaging GMA Pinoy TV’s public relations consultant, Lorna Dietz, a veteran online public relations practitioner since 1996) in bringing attention to this mall. Supporting Ben Menor, Seasons Marketplace at Landess’s community developer, and Gabrielle “Girly” Ramos, Seasons Marketplace at Landess’s Merchant Relations and Marketing Support started with the Community Hall at Seasons in October 2010. The public relations activities have since expanded into highlighting the Merchants at Seasons Marketplace at Landess.

Mae Flores, A Filipina American Actor, stars in “Atlantis Down,” the movie
“I had the pleasure of getting to know MAE FLORES, an up & coming Filipino actress. Her natural beauty and talent came through in her big screen debut.” – I found this quote in one of the reviews at the Washington Post for the sci-fi (or syfy) movie, “Atlantis Down.” Congratulations, Mae! The Los Angeles Premiere of “Atlantis Down” will be shown during the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival on February 20th, 2010 at Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Continue reading

Philippines: Educating People about the Reality of Unsafe, Illegal Abortions
My niece, Lauren, seeks to understand what makes the RH Bill an important milestone in reproductive health in the Philippines when Church and State grapple over the morality, ethics, and every reason for or against this bill. As a 20-something adult living and working in the Philippines — and of child-bearing age — Lauren volunteers at Likhaan and learns all about their advocacy. Continue reading
